What does it mean to be an artist?
Being an artist is a way of seeing the world and making sense of it. "Creativity takes courage," said Henry Matisse.

What is included in the tuition?
Good quality art supplies are respectful to the artist and his/her process. Years of education, museum and classroom experiences make the integrated programs one of a kind.
Everything is designed with purpose.
All important keys in developing creative thinking.
Why are classes small?
The size of the classes are intentionally small, so younger artists can fully engage in their own process and receive individual guidance in their art.
I am reminded of a restaurant in Italy--better to keep the menu simple, heartfelt than a zillion different pastas, gelato flavors, and then, a tray of donuts.
Art is intimate.

What is the purpose of art circle?
The purpose of an art circle is for artists to be together, to share and listen to one another ideas, to reflect on process, to ask questions, to observe, and simply to be part of something---a community of artists. We support and encourage our creative process through love, kindness and respect.
Why are there mixed age groups
Having artists of various ages together creates a different sense of balance.
We all learn from each other--regardless of age.
It also lends itself to the concept of family and how we
support one another.
We also care for our environment and materials,
and each other in the community.

What does one wear to art class
An old pair of pants or shirt. Keep the fancies home :) I also want all artists to feel free to get "messy" with art materials and not worry about clothes or shoes.
Without worry, the creative process is more fluid.
