I grew up on the East Coast in a city neighborhood, a place rich with culture and formative experiences--from sharing Italian ice to endless story telling on the stoop.  That vibrant upbringing, along with a natural sense of adventure, led me to move to San Francisco over two decades ago. Here, I found my home, my husband, and the profound joy of raising four children.

Art has always been the centerpiece of life--whether laying out ravioli dough on countertops with my grandmother when I was small or making dog murals with my children. For me, art is not soley about mastering a technique; it is a way of creating life.

As an artist and an educator with a Masters in Integrated Education, my professional perspective is both hands on and academic. My career includes extensive work as a classroom teacher, and years building creative programs within fine art museums, non-profits and other environments.

My primary goal is to guide children and adults in developing their own ideas. This process cultivates deep connection. I believe that creativity is the most essential way we engage with and experience the world.
